I have been a chocolatier for over 35 years. I have used many different pans to make candy centers for dipping. The Candy Pan has been the best pan that I have ever used. Having precisely measured slots for the cutting tool makes perfect even pieces every time. I highly recommend this pan for any candy maker.
These pans are the best! Cutting candy into uniform-sized pieces can be a challenge. I know, because I've had to do it nearly every year at candy-making time since I was a teenager. I'd always ask my mom, "Is this the right size? Bigger? Smaller?" It's so nice to be able to cut a whole batch of candy quickly, and not stress over the size, and know exactly how many pieces the batch will make.
This pan is well made and is very versatile. You can use it to make just about any candy including hard candy like toffee. It works to make perfect squares of whatever candy every time. The classes that are offered by The Candy Pan company are also really awesome. Sandi has been making candy for many years and she makes sure to keep the class engaged. Would recommend buying a pan and taking some classes.
This pan is sturdy and made in the USA. Easy to clean. Easy to store. And is the best option for cutting things like caramel, marshmallow, or even fudge! I bought several pans so I could share my love with others. And a great price!

The first design of this pan was created in 1965 by a steel salesman to help his candy-making wife get a consistent size for toffee. It required 2 people to use the knife and made extra large batches! We've made a few adjustments since then to make it more versatile and easy enough for 1 person to use.

Sandi Pond is a third generation candy maker!
She is a wife, mother of two teenage boys, a homesteader, and is always trying new things. She is a hand dipper of chocolate, a singer songwriter, loves Jesus, and is always ready for an adventure. Any questions about the homemade candy making process, she's your girl!
